Norma Jean Richardson, age 72, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. She was born the daughter of Arvel and Mildred (Treon) Bryant on November 28, 1953 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1972 graduate of Southwest High School in Ludlow, Missouri.
Norma was united in marriage to David Richardson on June 1, 1980 at Mooresville Christian Church, Mooresville, Missouri. He survives of the home. Norma was a dedicated wife and mother. She attended the First Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Norma is survived by her husband, David and their two daughters, Mary Alice and Rebecca Ann Richardson, all of Chillicothe, Missouri; and a brother, Gerald Wayne Bryant and wife, Betty of rural Chillicothe, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael David Richardson; and brother, David Lee Bryant.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. The register book will be available to sign at Lindley Funeral Home on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 9:00 am until 4:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church and/or the Ronald McDonald House, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
