70+ Year Old Bridge in Sullivan County

Bridge work on Route PP in Sullivan County scheduled to begin Monday has been delayed one day and will begin Tuesday February 3rd. The Missouri Department of Transportation will close Route PP at the West Locust Creek Bridge, west of Milan as a section of that route will be closed for a bridge replacement.   The project is part of the Northwest Bridge Bundle and should be completed in June.

The current bridge was built in 1955 and has a traffic volume of about 59 vehicles per day. Motorists will need to find an alternate route.
