The Chillicothe Board of Public Works met in a special emergency meeting on Friday afternoon. The meeting was called to discuss a turbine gearbox failure at the power-generating plant. CMU hopes to get the generating unit back up and running as soon as possible. Results of Friday’s meeting will be forwarded to the Chillicothe City Council for financial approval.
