A Boil Water Advisory is issued for a portion of Livingston County Public Water Supply District #2. The Boil Advisory is for customers on:
LIV 224 – west of US 65
LIV 239 – south of LIV 224
LIV 237 – north of LIV 224
The Boil Advisory remains in effect until Sunday at 2:00 pm.
Under the boil advisory, water used for cooking or drinking should be boiled for at least three minutes. Ice cubes made with tap water should be thrown out and remade with boiled water.
Surfaces that come in contact with raw or prepared foods should be sanitized with boiled water and a teaspoon of bleach per gallon of water.
