A Braymer man faces two counts of Murder in the 1st Degree in the death of two people in Carroll County on Thursday. Thirty-eight-year-old Kegan Keith Kelly was charged in Carroll County court following the investigation by the Missouri Highway Patrol. The victims are identified as 43-year-old Jason H. Kelly and 36-year-old Steven E. Stoll, both of Braymer.
The probable cause statement indicates Kegan Kelly made violent threats to one of the victims.
When Kegan Kelly was taken into custody, officers located a weapon in the attic that they believed was used in the killings.
The statement also indicates one of the victims is a brother of Kegan Kelly and that Kegan was the subject of a protective order recently issued due to the threats that were made.
