Chillicothe’s Demolition project is set to move forward as the City Council approved a contractor to complete the asbestos removal and demolition. Jeffery Martin from Green Hills Regional Planning Commission presented the bids that required re-submission.
Total of $230,800.
The winning bidder is Betty Foster Roofing of Mendon.
The Demolition project includes 17 structures. Chillicothe Codes Officer Gil Gates told the council the work will begin in the 3rd Ward.
Completion is expected in November.
