Chillicothe Fire Protection District Meeting

The Chillicothe Fire Protection District #1 of Livingston County met Tuesday evening.

The board approved the budget that includes revenues of about $156,000.  Expenditures are split, with 50% to the City of Chillicothe, 25% into the truck replacement fund, and 25% for organization expenses.

The board rejected bids for the sale of a surplus pumper truck and a generator.  The bids were rejected due to bid process confusion.

The board adopted the Livingston County Multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan.

They also approved moving forward with the installation of a fire hydrant at the water district tower located at Route W & Route A.  The cost is not to exceed $6,000.
