The Chillicothe Police Department report for Wednesday includes more than 110 calls for service.
Officers responded to several welfare and crisis-related calls, including assisting EMS with people in crisis who were transported to local medical facilities. In one case, officers worked with Northwest Mental Health to calm an individual at a church and arrange treatment.
Police also investigated a report of careless and imprudent driving after a white Toyota was reported swerving between lanes and brake-checking another driver. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
The most significant call came on Jennifer Lane, where officers assisted the Children’s Division with a welfare check on a seven-year-old. Police determined the home was hazardous to the child’s health and safety. The child was removed from the home, and the mother was arrested and taken to Caldwell County pending formal charges.
