Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

Eighty-eight calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Monday, including welfare checks.

Officers conducted two welfare checks Monday afternoon, with both individuals located and reported to be okay. Officers also took reports involving alleged violations of court orders, with both investigations ongoing.

Police were contacted by a local business regarding threatening emails allegedly sent by a former employee. That investigation is also ongoing.

Officers responded to a report of juveniles fighting near Dickinson and Cooper Streets, but the juveniles had left before officers arrived. Information was collected and forwarded to the School Resource Officer.

Police also assisted the Children’s Division in the 2600 block of Shawnee Drive, where a child was taken into protective custody.
