Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

One hundred two calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday.  Officers investigated two commercial burglary alarms and an intrusion alarm at a financial institution, but all three were determined to be false alarms with no signs of criminal activity.

Police also responded to a report of threats, but after investigating, no further action was necessary. Emergency crews were called to a Hickory Drive residence for a welfare check, where an unresponsive person was transported by ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center. Officers also assisted the fire department with a reported gas odor that proved unfounded.

Later in the evening, officers cited a driver for driving while suspended after a traffic stop, and the vehicle was towed. The day also included numerous traffic stops, business checks, vehicle checks, and follow-up investigations.
