Nearly 100 calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday.
Officers responded to the 400 block of Dickinson Street for a domestic disturbance, where the parties were separated. Later, a man at the same location was taken into protective custody under a 96-hour mental health warrant and transported to a hospital.
Police also investigated a stolen license plate, a hit-and-run crash in the 1000 block of Graves Street with no injuries reported, vandalism, and a possible child abuse report.
Officers executed a search warrant in the 1300 block of Jackson Street, with that investigation ongoing, a disturbance on Fair Street was resolved.
Thursday evening, officers safely contacted a man in crisis in the 1200 block of Easton Street. He voluntarily sought treatment and was transported to a hospital.
