Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

Seventy-four calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday.

Officers responded to a harassment complaint at a business in the 500 block of Elm Street. Staff reported a man had taken photographs of students without permission and later posted the images on social media. The man had been told he was no longer permitted on the property, but continued calling the business asking to return. Police advised staff to contact officers immediately if he returns and discussed options for pursuing charges.

Officers also conducted two well-being checks. A resident on Jackson Street was checked at the request of a property manager, with follow-up planned through an outside care provider and state agency. Later, a family member reported concern for another Jackson Street resident who had not been heard from for several days. That person was located and confirmed safe.

Officers also conducted traffic stops, business and vehicle checks, and followed up on several investigations.
