Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

Seventy-nine calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Tuesday.  Some of the calls include:

At 12:41 p.m., Officers arrested a 19-year-old male on an active Livingston County warrant for failure to obey a judge’s orders on an original charge of domestic assault. The man was unable to post the required $5,000.00 cash only bond and was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

At 1:42 p.m., a scammer called the Police Department to say there was a problem with the computers. Once the scammer realized they called a Police Department, they hung up the phone.

At 3:21 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop at Locust St. and JFK Ave. As a result of the stop, a 53-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child. He was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center pending the filing of formal charges.
