The Chillicothe R-II School District finalized the purchase of the future site of the School District’s bus barn and maintenance facility. Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers says they purchased the John Hutchinson property, just north of the Chillicothe R-II School Administrative Building, for $500,000.
Wiebers says the district has taken steps to begin the sale of the current bus barn property.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to help fund necessary updates and improvements at the new site.
