Authorization to purchase fuel for the Chillicothe Airport was provided by the Chillicothe City Council. Airport Director Toby Calivere addressed the council. The airport has a 12,000 gallon fuel storage tank that is connected to the self-serve fuel system.
Less than 1,000 gallons on hand and already over budget. Requesting an additional 8,000 gallons.
The Council approved the request. It was also recommended that an amendment to the Airport’s fuel budget be submitted to the Auditor. That could be considered by the Council and would allow additional fuel purchases, up to the new budgeted amount, without Council approval.
