The driver of a combine was injured as he drove on US 36 Sunday morning and was hit by a semi. The combine driver, a 59-year-old man from Ludlow, was eastbound on US 36, just west of US 65, when an eastbound semi, driven by a 64-year-old Illinois man, changed lanes and struck the rear of the combine. Both the semi and combine went into the median. The Highway Patrol listed both vehicles as totaled.
The combine driver was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. The truck driver was not injured.
