The cost of permits to cut into Chillicothe Streets and rights-of-way has increased. The Chillicothe City Council approved the request by Codes Director Gil Gates. Gates had explained at a previous meeting the refundable fee of $500 to ensure the work to properly fill the holes cut in streets with concrete was insufficient. The Council approved a request to increase the fee to $1,500.
The Council approved the requested change. The change in the fees takes place immediately.
