Two upgrades at Chilli Bay Water Park were approved by the Chillicothe City Council.
Parks Director Josh Norris presented the projects.
The gel coating of the open flume tube slide at the Lazy River was approved at a cost of $56,235. The work will take place this fall, after the pool season ends.
Replacing the Climbing Wall at a cost of $38,856 will take place before the Memorial Day weekend opening. Norris explained why this is needed.
Used all of the available adjustments on the current wall.
Both projects were approved by the council on votes of 4-0
