Final Days Of Chillicothe Citywide Clean-Up

The final week of the annual Chillicothe Citywide Clean-up begins Wednesday morning.  This is taking place at the old transfer station on Mitchell Avenue, just south of the railroad tracks.

The final dates this year are:

April 22nd   (8 am-Noon & 1 pm – 4 pm)

April 25th   (8 am-Noon & 1 pm – 4 pm)

The Citywide Clean-up is for current CMU Customers only.  Operations Manager Casey Johnson says that will be verifying at the gate.

Employees will be checking at the gate.

Johnson says there are limitations on what will be accepted.

No hazardous materials, used oil, batteries, liquid paint, concrete, dirt, shingles, or brush.

There is a charge for tires.  Johnson says the rates are: Car and truck – $5, Semi $20, Tractor – $40.    $15, $35, and $55 respectivly if on the wheels.
