Halloween means excited kids who may not be paying attention. Chillicothe Police Chief Jon Maples has some reminders for parents when they take their children to residential neighborhoods.
Go to the door with the kids – check the candy.
Maples says it is also important to drive safely in residential neighborhoods on Halloween.
Drivers should use extra caution in the neighborhoods, especially young drivers.
Parents… make sure the kids are dressed warmly, as temperatures will drop off around sunset.
