Halloween Residence Checks will be conducted by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department on Halloween night. The Deputies will be conducting sex offender Halloween residence checks to ensure compliance with state law. This includes
- Must avoid contact with trick-or-treaters and children.
- Must remain indoors from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (except for employment or medical emergencies).
- Must keep outside residential lighting turned off after 5:00 p.m..
There is no longer a “No Candy” sign requirement.
