Livingston County Cattlemen’s Association Kickoff Event

The Livingston County Cattlemen’s Association will hold its kickoff event on Thursday, August 28th, at the LICOVA Veterans Building in Chillicothe.

The evening begins with a social at 6 p.m., dinner at 6:30, and speakers starting at 7. Matthew Jenkins, Missouri Cattlemen’s Grazing Coordinator, will discuss “Reaching untapped income on your farm using cost share.” He’ll be followed by Executive Vice-President Mike Deering, who will highlight the benefits of membership in both the Livingston County and Missouri Cattlemen’s Associations.

The event is open to anyone, regardless of county, with a free-will donation meal and cash bar provided.

The Livingston County Cattlemen’s Association says its mission is to unite farmers and ranchers, support the cattle industry, and invest in rural youth while helping the public better understand the work that goes into raising quality beef.
