Swearing in of new school board members and reorganization of the board are on the Chillicothe R-II School Board agenda for Tuesday. The meeting will start at 5:00 pm at the district office.
The agenda includes recognition of the CELC Teacher and Diana Holcer for the Partners in Education Program.
Old business includes the payment of bills, consent agenda, and the program evaluation for Dual Credit.
Reorganization of the board will include recognition of an outgoing board member, swearing in three members, and the election of officers.
New Business includes:
- The financial report
- a new scoreboard at the stadium for nearly $457,000; the project is at no cost to the district
- the 2026/27 Career Ladder Plan
- Technology Service bids
- The Building Trades Bid
- An update to the Paramedic Program
- An MOU with the City of Chillicothe for the School Resource Officer program
- Setting a Special Meeting to Approve 2026 Graduates
- An update on the Midland Empire Conference Expansion
- A discussion on the Rural School Finance Town Hall
A Closed executive session is planned to follow the regular meeting.
