The Chillicothe Main Street program hosted Missouri Main Street in a meeting this week. Chillicothe’s Director Tomie Walker says the meeting included a presentation by the State Community Development Director. Walker says Strategic Planning was a focus of the meeting and it included a review of survey results. She says there were several ideas that were brought up.
Ideas for Silver Moon and for programs downtown.
They are also looking at increasing entertainment and family-friendly events.
Walker says they need to look at several areas as they make their plans, including available funding.
