The State of Missouri’s Jobs report for May has been released. The report shows Missouri’s non-farm payroll increased by 3,400 jobs, private industry employment increased by 2,400 jobs, and government employment increased by 1,000 jobs.
Missouri’s smoothed seasonally adjusted unemployment remains steady from April at 3.8%. That is two-tenths of a percentage point lower than May 2025.
The monthly unemployment report for May, with a breakdown by county, will be released on Friday.
