Three drop boxes for discarding unneeded or outdated prescription medications can be found in the Chillicothe Community. The drop boxes provide an easy way for citizens to dispose of items in a quick and safe way.
The Prescription Medication Drop Box locations include:
- The main entry at the new Chillicothe Police Facility on Cherry Street on a 24-hour basis.
- The Emergency Room Lobby at Hedrick Medical Center on a 24-hour basis.
- The lobby of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office – weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Please do not drop needles, liquids, or patches in the drop boxes.
Some area pharmacies may also accept medications for disposal.
