Missouri Highway Patrol Accident And Arrest

A single vehicle crash in Sullivan County Friday night left a passenger with moderate injuries.  State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 11:50 pm on Hedge Drive, north of Green City.  The report states the driver, a 24-year-old man from Springfield, was northbound and fled from a Sullivan County deputy.  He ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree.  The passenger, a 30-year-old man from Milan, had moderate injuries and was taken to Sullivan County Hospital for treatment.

A Shelbine man was arrested by State Troopers in Linn County early Saturday morning.  At about 12:08 am, Troopers arrested 20-year-old Chance R. Rainey for alleged DWI and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.  He was processed and released.
