Only a handfull of counties in north Missouri show any sign of Drought.  The US Drought Monitor shows eight north Missouri counties, in western Missouri and north of the Missouri River, are showing abnormally dry conditions.  Of the local counties, nearly all of Caldwell County, the western half of Carroll County, and the southwest corner of Livingston County are included in the Abnormally Dry area.  The remainder of north Missouri shows no drought.

Much of central Missouri is shown to be under the Abnormally Dry conditions, with three counties showing Moderate Drought.

In the southern part of Missouri, a small portion shows No Drought, with the remainder abnormally Dry or Moderate Drought.
