New Bridge On Highway 190 Now Open

The Clear Creek Bridge on Highway 190, north of Lock Springs, is now open to traffic.  The Missouri Department of Transportation opened the bridge on Monday afternoon.  The bridge, located in a curve just east of the railroad tracks, was replaced at a cost of $1.7 million.  The work to replace the bridge that was built in 1932 began in July.  The bridge carries a daily load of more than 1,100 vehicles.
