The Chillicothe Airport was busy over the past couple of weeks, with planes stopping on the way to the annual EAA AirVenture event in Oshkosh, WI. Airport Director Toby Calivere says Chillicothe was a popular fuel stop.
191 planes land to get fuel.
The Airport sold 8,825 gallons of fuel during the period.
Calivere says this is the most planes at the airport during an event since 2024.
4th busiest GA Airport in the nation during the Oshkosh event.
He credited the fuel availability and price for the increase in traffic.
