A personnel matter was handled by the Chillicothe City Council in an executive session following their regular meeting this week. The council members approved hiring Brennen Carter as a part-time clerk for the Chillicothe Police Department at a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.
Carter begins work today and will be working about 20 hours a week.
