A Polo man was booked into the Caldwell County Detention Center on Wednesday for alleged Abuse or Neglect of a child – serious emotional or physical injury and Endangering the welfare of a child – serious physical injury.
Twenty-two-year-old Matthew L. Munson was arrested by deputies and is held with no bond allowed.
The probable cause statement indicates that last Friday, July 17th, deputies and emergency services were called for a child having problems breathing.
The report of medical examination indicates the injuries to the child include characteristics of shaken baby syndrome.
