Public Meeting For US 63 Macon Project

A public informational meeting will be held May 5th to discuss the future interchange improvements on US 63, over US 36 in Macon.  The meeting is planned for Monday, May 5th, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Macon.  Details about the project, including a project schedule, will be shared at the meeting through displays and discussions with Missouri Department of Transportation engineers. The meeting is open-house style, so there will be no formal presentation.

The project is scheduled to be under contract this Fall and will include bridge rehabilitation, off-ramp realignments and turn lane improvements, traffic signal and lighting upgrades at the US 63 and Bus. 36 intersections, and safety improvements at the Kellogg Avenue median crossover.

Those unable to attend the meeting in person, can visit the project website at https://www.modot.org/projects/us-route-63-interchange-improvements-over-us-route-36-macon-county to learn more or leave a comment.
