Rothville ADA Project Begins Monday

MoDOT contractors are ready to start the next part of a series of ADA Sidewalk projects in Carroll and Chariton counties. Ti-Zack Concrete, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, is scheduled to begin sidewalk improvements on Route EE in Rothville on Monday. The project should be completed by the end of the month.

The project is to help ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and is funded in part through the Transportation Alternatives Program.

Several parts of the project have been completed.
• Bosworth (Route M) – completed.
• Hale (Missouri Route 139) – completed.
• Mendon (Route CC) – completed.
• Keytesville (Route K) – completed.
• Sumner (Route E) – nearing completion, handrail installation remaining.
• Norborne (Route D) – July 20-Aug. 18.
