Simpson Park in Chillicothe will be closed Thursday afternoon and evening for a school event. The Chillicothe Cross Country Invitational will take place from 1:00 to 7:00 pm. For the safety of the more than 300 athletes participating and the staff members, the park and the roads through the park will be closed to normal use.
