Two Area Court Cases Bound Over To Circuit Court

Court cases in Sullivan and Livingston Counties are Bound Over for Circuit Court.

Former Sullivan County Public Administrator, 65-year-old Joan Brummitt, of Milan, was in Sullivan County court Thursday for a preliminary hearing on four counts each of alleged financial exploitation of the elderly or disabled and Stealing – $750 or more.  The case was bound over to Circuit Court.

The case was forwarded to the Missouri Supreme Court for reassignment to a judge outside the 9th Circuit.

 

One of two women charged with alleged attempting to distribute a controlled substance at a protected facility has had her case bound over to Circuit Court.  Thirty-two-year-old Megan Marie Hupp of Moscow Mills appeared in Livingston County Associate Court.  The court certified the case to be bound over, with arraignment scheduled for February 5th.

The other woman, thirty-four-year-old Sarah Nichole Sohaib of Wentzville, will be in Associate Court for her Preliminary Hearing on January 21st.
