Two Vehicle Crash Leaves Two With Serious Injuries

A two-vehicle crash in DeKalb County left two with serious injuries.  State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 9:30 am on Interstate 35, two miles north of Cameron.

According to the report, a car and a full-sized SUV were southbound.  The SUV stopped for congested traffic and was stuck from behind by the car.  The SUV spun, coming to rest in the passing lane.  The car went off the west side of the road and struck the ditch.

The driver of the car, a 38-year-old woman from Gallatin, had serious injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center.  A passenger in the SUV, a 73-year-old woman from Trenton, had serious injuries, and the driver, a 63-year-old man from Trenton, had minor injuries.  They were taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
