Unrestrained Child Injured In Car/Deer Crash

A car vs. deer crash in Grundy County Thursday evening left a two-year-old child with minor injuries.  State Troopers report the child was in a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Emma Hostetler of Trenton.  According to the report, at about 8:53 pm, Hostetler was southbound on US 65, a mile south of Spickard, when a deer entered the roadway and was struck by the Hostetler car.  The two-year-old child was not properly restrained and had minor injuries.  He was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital for treatment.
