Rail Crossing Safety will be addressed at seven uncontrolled crossings in Livingston County. Presiding Commissioner Ed Douglas says they have been meeting with the Railroad to address the crossings.
Seven locations from Chula to Ludlow.
Douglas says the work will take place through Spring, and some may take place fairly quickly.
One of the crossings will require some additional work to prepare for the upgrades. The Livingston County Road and Bridge Crew will be closing LIV 232, east of Danner Park, to improve the grade of the approach to the crossing. That work will begin Monday, and the road will be closed through Wednesday, October 21st.
