Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

The holiday weekend police report for Chillicothe includes 193 calls for service.  Some of the calls include:

Early Friday, a disturbance at Hedrick Medical Center led to an intoxicated man being admitted for chest pain. Officers also handled multiple noise complaints and domestic disturbances, including a theft from a vehicle and a family gathering dispute on Elm Street. A woman was treated after taking too much medication, and a fireworks incident in a business lot was resolved without charges.

Saturday included two non-injury traffic crashes—one on Washington Street and another involving a semi on U.S. 36 east of Highway 65. Fireworks complaints continued into the evening.

Sunday, officers investigated a burglary on Elm Street and responded to a domestic dispute on Easton Street. They also assisted with a residential fire on Shagbark Drive where all occupants evacuated safely.

Police also conducted traffic stops, business checks, and followed up on several ongoing investigations.
