$800,000 GRMC Renovation Project Begins May 1st

Renovation of the Grand River Multi-Purpose Center will begin May 1st.  Administrator Teresa Sykes says the $800,000 project will include work both inside and outside the building.  Sykes says the exterior work will give a fresh appearance to the center.

New doors, adding windows and a drive-through window.

Sykes says inside, there are some required improvements.

ADA compliant bathrooms, new flooring, a walk-in freezer, etc.

Work is scheduled to begin May 1st, and Sykes says they are still raising funds to pay for the project.

Capital campaign letters, foundations, and donations.

The Grand River Multipurpose Center is part of the Concerned Citizens for the Community, a 501c3 non-profit organization.  They are accepting donations of any size to assist with the project.  If you have questions, contact the center at 660-646-1555.
