A RED FLAG warning is issued for several Northern Missouri counties, including Grundy and Sullivan Counties in the local area. The National Weather Service issued the Red Flag Warning from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm due to low relative humidity and gusty winds.
The National Weather Service says any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
The area can expect gusty westerly winds up to 30 mph. and relative humidity values falling between 15 and 20% Wednesday afternoon.
