All Stop At Flashing Traffic Signals

In Driver’s Ed classes, we learned that Traffic Signals direct us on when we should STOP, and when we can GO.  Unfortunately, traffic signals are not always working properly.  Captain Jeremiah Grider says we need to follow the rules of the road when Traffic signals are flashing.

When flashing red, treat it as a 4-way stop sign intersection.

Captain Grider says occasionally, a power outage will cause a traffic signal to be off completely.  Again, he says we need to stop.

You need to stop and watch for other traffic.

In either case, approach those intersections with caution.  Stop and make sure the other traffic is also stopping before you enter the intersection.
