Animal Complaint Leads To Child Endangerment Arrests

An investigation of an animal complaint ended with two arrests for alleged child endangerment.  Chillicothe Police received the call to the 300 block of Walnut Friday afternoon.  The report states officers and animal control investigated the crimes against children and animals.

The investigation resulted in a search warrant, where officers found unfit living conditions where children were living, along with animals.

A 37-year-old man was arrested on a Linn County warrant for alleged failure to appear.  Charges of alleged child endangerment are pending.  He was transferred to Linn County on the warrant.

A 33-year-old woman was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for alleged probation violation.  She also faces multiple charges of alleged child endangerment.  She is held at the Caldwell County Detention Center.
