A report of Animal Neglect resulted in the pet owner cited. Chillicothe Police Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves St. for a report of a dog locked in a car. Officers found the vehicle was not running and the windows were slightly cracked.
The individual who was responsible was located and a citation for animal neglect was issued.
The Animal Control Officer will conduct follow-ups.
