Chillicothe residents who are interested in serving on the Chillicothe Airport Advisory Board still have time to apply to the position that will be filled by appointment. Chillicothe Mayor Thersa Kelly will accept letters of interest for the opening.
The appointment will be to fill an expired term, starting on June 1st, and is a four-year term.
Airport Advisory Board– they meet at 5:15 pm, on the second Tuesday in the months of February, April, June, August, October and December.
All applicants to be considered shall be residents of the City, who have resided in the City for not less than one (1) year before the effective date of their appointment.
Any interested parties can pick up a board volunteer form at the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 715 Washington Street, Chillicothe, Missouri or go on to the City’s website. www.chillicothecity.org
