An accident and an arrest reported by the Missouri Highway Patrol include residents from the area.
A Carrollton man had moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Lafayette County Monday at about 11:55 am. The motorcycle crash occurred on Missouri Highway 23 as the driver was soutbound and ran off the right side of the road. The bike overturned and the driver was partially ejected. He was taken to the Western Missouri Medical Center. He was wearing a helmet.
A Chillicothe woman was arrested by State Troopers in Livingston County. The arrest was at about 11:29 am for alleged driving while suspended and no plates. Twenty-three-year-old Keyomie Phillips was processed and released.
