A 33-year-old woman was arrested Sunday by Livingston County Deputies. Melissa J. Bray, a detainee of the Chillicothe Correction Center, was booked at about 9:00 am on a WRIT to appear in Livingston County Court on a charge of alleged Assault – special victim. The charge is the result of an incident at the prison in September of 2023, where Bray is alleged to have struck a corrections officer.
Bray is scheduled to appear in associate court on December 3rd.
Caldwell County Deputies booked 56-year-old James R. Blakely Sunday evening. He is held at the Caldwell County Detention Center.
