Bid Approved For Waste Lime Drying Beds

A bid for the construction of new Waste Lime Drying Beds for Chillicothe Municipal Utilities Water Services Department received approval from the Chillicothe Board of Public Works.  CMU General Manager Matt Hopper says three bids were received.

Low Bid from Irvinbilt for $469,400.

The bid does need approval from the Chillicothe City Council before the contractor can proceed with the work.  If approved, the construction could start in the next 30-60 days and would be completed by winter.
