Bids Accepted In Board Of Public Works Meeting

Several Bids received by the Chillicothe Board of Public Works were accepted.

General Manager Matt Hopper says in the electric Department, there were two bids presented.

A diesel fuel filtration system for $406,000.

They also accepted a bid for a three-ton forklift for the electric warehouse for $36, 879.

In the Water Services Department, one bid was received for a new mini-excavator.

Accepted the low bid from KC Bobcat.

They are still accepting bids for the sale of the current mini excavator.

There were two items that had no bids received.

CMU will seek pricing on the coating of the oxidation ditch
and the sludge drag chain that are within budget.

There was no information released from the executive session.
